Headlight level sensors, due to their placement under the frame, are exposed to dirt, road salt and moisture. Moisture can seep into the sensor and corrode the electronic parts. If this happens, then the headlights will fail to adjust when you go over bumps. Usually there will be a dash light that warns you that the lights are not adjusting.

If both sides don't close, it may be the TAIL fuse as with the old system. If both sides don't open, check the headlight switch. The motors are next. Remove the connector (see picture). Manually move the knob and bring the headlight to the halfway up position. Momentarily apply 12V and ground through a fused jumper to the connector.

When in aux and I turn the lights ON then the odometer, radio and clock lights go off.
Sep 06, 2010 · Now the headlights, dome light and buzzer work but no "running" lights. I thought maybe it was a DOA switch from the parts store so I bought another - Same issue. BTW, emergency flashers, turn signals, brake lights and backup lights are all OK, also kick panel fuse #15 and all fuses in the power distribution center under the hood are fine.
If your dashboard lights don't turn-on when you pull you headlight switch, and you are sure all your bulbs are wiring is ok, chances are you have a bad light dimmer control in the actual headlight switch. To verify this, you need to remove the actual headlight switch from the car and do some continuity testing or a close up visual inspection.
